Use of the tools
The name generator, valuation, WHOIS, availability, drops, and sales-history tools are provided free of charge for lawful use. You agree not to abuse, scrape at scale, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may rate-limit or block requests to protect availability.
Estimates, not guarantees
Domain appraisals, availability checks, and sales data are provided for information only. Valuations are estimates, not offers or promises — a domain is ultimately worth what a buyer will pay. Availability and WHOIS results are drawn from live sources that can change moment to moment; always confirm at a registrar before relying on them.
The marketplace
Listing a domain is free. To list, you must verify control of the domain via the DNS record we provide, and you must have the right to sell it. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing and for honouring the price and terms you publish. We may remove listings that are fraudulent, infringing, or otherwise in breach of these terms.
You must own the domain for as long as it is listed. The right to sell is not a one-off check at sign-up — it has to remain true. We monitor the registry, and if a listed domain expires or otherwise stops appearing to be yours, its sales page is taken off the marketplace automatically. Nothing is deleted: the listing, your price, your offers and your messages stay in your dashboard, and renewing the name restores it. If the domain lapsed and was then registered again, we will ask you to verify it once more before it goes back up, because a re-registration may be a different owner. If a domain is no longer yours, you must delete its listing. Leaving a sales page up for a name you do not own is a breach of these terms, and we may remove such listings without notice — a buyer could otherwise pay for something you cannot transfer.
We are not a party to sales
Domain Names Portal provides the listing page and relays enquiries, but we are not a broker, escrow agent, or party to any transaction. Payments happen directly between buyer and seller through the payment or escrow links the seller selects. We do not take a commission, hold funds, or guarantee that any sale, transfer, or payment will complete. For higher-value deals we strongly recommend using a reputable escrow service. Buyers and sellers transact at their own risk and are responsible for their own taxes and compliance.
Intellectual property
The site, its design, and its content are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the tools and results for your own domain research and business; you may not copy or resell the service itself.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from transactions between buyers and sellers, inaccurate estimates, or third-party services.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. Questions? Email contact@domainnamesportal.com.
